AI Girl follows Gen, a graphic designer who secretly spends her time illustrating the imaginary faces she sees in her mind. After staying awake for three straight nights, she’s tasked with creating the portrait of a beautiful woman. Pressed for time, Gen uses the face of her mysterious dream girl as the reference.

Soon after submitting the artwork, a strange package arrives at her home containing Robot Model A382—a lifelike android with the exact same face as the woman from her dreams. Unable to return the robot due to the delivery company’s no-return policy, Gen reluctantly takes it in. As the android learns human emotions and behaviors from her, Gen gives her the name Ai, and an unexpected bond begins to form.
